What This Privacy Policy Covers

This Privacy Policy applies to the iZia website (the “Site”) and governs the ways in which iZia (“we”, “us” or “our”) collects and uses your personal data when you access, use and browse the Site. In this Privacy Policy, “you” and “your” mean you, the person using or visiting our Site.

This Privacy Policy governs the personal data which we will collect from you when you visit our Site, and the use and disclosure by use of such personal data in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”). This Privacy Policy applies to personal data in our possession or under our control. By accessing our Site, you consent to the data practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Any capitalised terms not specifically defined herein shall bear the same meaning as provided in the Terms of Use.

Information Collection and Use

In this Privacy Policy, “personal data” means data, whether true or not, about an individual who can be identified – (a) from that data, or (b) from that data and other information to which we have or are likely to have access.

We collect any personal data you provide to us when you sign up for a iZia Account. This personal data may include your name, e-mail address and other information relevant to the Account you are signing up for.

We will collect any information contained in any correspondence between you and us. For example, if you contact us via the Site, or report a problem to us by e-mail, telephone, or post, we may keep a record of that correspondence.

We may also collect certain information about your visits to our Site and how you use it. This may include your IP address, geographical location, device information, browser type, referral source, length of visit, operating system, number of page views, what you have viewed or searched for on our Site, and similar information.This information may be collected using cookies.

Where you provide us with any personal data of third parties, you confirm that you have obtained all necessary consents to do so, and that we may collect, use and disclose such personal data for the purposes set out above, in accordance with the PDPA (and all amendments and regulations to the same).

We may engage third parties to operate the Site on our behalf, and these third parties may collect personal data directly from you about your visits to the Site on our behalf.

We may also receive personal data about you from third parties where you have consented to such third party sharing your personal data with us for specific purposes.

You agree that we may use your personal data for the following purposes:

● to provide you with access to our Site, provide information, services and/or products that you may have requested from us;

● to send you a confirmation email when you register with Flashin;

● to gather customer feedback;

● to communicate with you in respect to any correspondence or request that you have sent us (e.g. to send you a link to reset your password if you forget your password, to send our invoices to you);

● where you have opted in, to keep in contact with you about our services and/or products that we believe may interest you;

● where you give us your consent to do so, to share your personal data with other selected third parties, to enable them to contact you with information about services and/or products that may interest you;

● to provide customer service and support, and deal with your enquiries;

● to monitor, improve and administer our Site and ensure that content from our Site is presented in the most effective and optimal manner and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Site;

● for placement of service request: location and device data will be used to calculate the proximity to the pick up and drop off , estimated delivery time and charges;

● sending device notifications, including ‘pop-up notifications’ that appear on top of other open apps that require us to process your device information;

● for surveys and interviews, process the personal contact & account, task-related, device data, and the content of your feedback;

● for data analytics and to develop business intelligence to improve the iZia Platform in terms of product development, efficient resource management, and, ultimately, improve business performance. For this purpose, we process personal contact & account, task-related, contract, and location & device data;

● to enable us to enforce our legal rights and interests, including defending any claim, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our employees;

● for any other purpose authorised by you or any applicable laws;

● any other incidental business purposes related to or in connection with the above.

We will seek your consent before collecting any additional personal data and before using your personal data for a purpose which has not been notified to you (except where permitted or authorised by applicable laws).

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, lease, or release your personal data to third parties.

You agree that we may share your personal data with:

● any other entity within our group of companies, including our “related corporations” as defined in the Singapore Companies Act 1967;

● any business that supports our services and products, including any person that hosts or maintains any underlying IT system or data centre that we use to provide access to the Site or other services and products;

● any other selected third party that you consent to our sharing your personal data with;

● any other third parties where necessary to enable us to enforce our legal rights, or to protect the rights, property or safety of our employees or where such disclosure may be permitted or required by applicable laws.

When you access and use our Site, we may monitor your use of the same through cookies and similar tracking devices (e.g. to monitor the number of times you visit our Site or which pages you go to).

We may also allow third-party cookies or tools to be used on the public pages of our Site and the client-protected pages of our Site, to track visitor statistics, amongst other things.

You may change the settings on your browser or device to reject cookies. However, if you choose to reject cookies, you may not be able to access all or parts of our Site.

Our Site may contain content and links to other sites that are operated by third parties that may also operate cookies. We do not control these third-party sites or cookies and this Privacy Policy does not apply to them. Third parties do not have access to our cookies.

Your Ability to Edit and Delete Your Account Information and Preferences

You may edit your account information and preferences at any time.You may also request deletion of your iZia Account via the iZia App.

Security

We use appropriate technological and operational security measures to protect your information against any unauthorised access or unlawful use. In particular, your iZia Account information is password-protected for your privacy and security.We use industry-standard SSL-encryption to protect data transmissions.

Transmission of information over the internet can be insecure, and although we employ measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, you acknowledge that we cannot always guarantee the security of information sent over the internet and that any transmission of your personal data is at your own risk. While security cannot be guaranteed, we strive to protect the security of your personal data and are constantly reviewing and enhancing our information security measures.

Retention

We will retain your personal data for as long as such information is reasonably useful for commercial/marketing purposes or is necessary to provide you with the services and/or products that you have requested from us or for as long as applicable laws otherwise permit.

Storage

All personal data collected by us are stored in systems that may only be accessed by our authorised personnel and/or our authorised third-party service providers.

We will take all necessary steps to ensure that your personal data is adequately protected and processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy. You consent to this transfer and processing of your personal data.

You have the right to:

● ask us not to collect, use, process, or disclose your personal data in any manner described herein;

● request access to the personal data that we hold about you; and

● request a correction of any error or omission in the personal data that we hold about you.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

You agree that the terms of this Privacy Policy shall be governed by the laws of Singapore, and you agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
